Howdy everyone!

Just thought I'd review a game (or a set of games, rather) I managed to obtain free when I bought my ATI 2900 HD XT. The ATI 2900 HD XT is the latest (at the time of writing) entertainment graphics card from ATI, with 512 MB VRAM and DX 10 support, plus I got mine with the Orange Box, I couldn't be more happy because these games, seriously rock.

Ok, first up the Orange Box consists of 3 games: Half-Life 2: Episode 2 (which is the expansion after HL2 and HL2: E1), Team Fortress 2 (the new version of the old skool Team Fortress HL Mod) and lastly, Portal, a new addition to valve's library of games.

I'll be playing the games over the course of the next few days and writing mini reviews on the games I've completed (which at the time of writing, includes only Portal).

Anyway, I highly recommend the Orange Box to any gamer out there. Whether or not you enjoy First Person Shooters, I'm pretty sure you'll love the Orange Box (speaking of which, I'm more of a RTS/RPG kinda gamer). Hey, it 9.5 on gamespot.com, can't go wrong with something like that.

In the meantime, I've included the credits song to Portal on the jukebox. It sounds kinda catchy and you'd get it if you played the game and hopefully, writing this will influence more people to get the Orange Box (and come play TF2 with me. lol).

One day, while randomly browsing the net.. i found the most awesome thing... PAPERCRAFT! (Thanks, daijo) What is papercraft you might ask? Well, its basically turning 3d models into reality (using paper that is).

Papercraft seems to work on any 3d model and the results are fantastic. Just check out what I managed to do in 3 days:

Hi everybody! :D

Recently, I've been seeing this trend: scary looking mascots appearing all over the place. Be it in blogskins, display pictures and other strange things. For a while, I tried to find out what the mascot was called, problem is... with only a picture of the mascot in mind, looking for the actual name of the creature yielded no results.

With the help of curious girl (otherwise known as "cough"), I managed to uncover its name... Domo-kun! :O However, yet another strange creature has appeared....

1.When she asks how she looks, shrug and say "could be better." This will keep her on her toes, and girls love that.

2. Never hold her hand. This can be interpreted as a sign of weakness. If she grabs your hand, squeeze hers really, really hard until she cries. This will impress her by showing her what a strong man you are.

3. Once a month sneak up on her from behind and knock her over. Girls are like dogs. They love to be roughed up.

4. Call her in the middle of the night to ask if she's sleeping. If she is, say "you better be." Repeat this 4 or 5 times until morning. This will show her you care.

So, in order to change that, and since I've so much time on my hands, i've decided to post cool facts about various animals and related to animals that are hard to believe but true nonetheless.

went to the innovation fair, "innovation", at the expo today, and one word describes this: propaganda! yup, the fair was full of it. though, it was pretty cool, i had a sneak preview at the actual windows vista ultimate, which is totally the bomb! it's hitting stores november this year and my recommendations for getting this operating system is: go for it!

The explosive beginning of our universe, the Big Bang marks the earliest time we can probe with current physical theory. Theory has to guide our understanding of the first fraction of a second, since we can’t recreate the extremely high temperatures that existed during the earliest history of the universe in any earthly laboratory. What theory tells us is that from an initial state in which matter and radiation are both in an extremely hot and dense form, the universe expands and the matter cools. At that time, it is believed that all four of the fundamental forces of nature—gravity, electromagnetism, and the strong and weak nuclear forces—were unified.
The evolution of the earliest universe is not well understood because it is not clear exactly what laws were at work. However, it is known that by the end of the first second of time, the building blocks of matter had formed. well, i was talking to a boy just the other day, and was inspired by him. not in a positive way i'm afraid. just to get rid of some of the sadness, i'm going to summarize what he told me.

"he was a normal boy, one with little talents, little abilities and nothing to offer. life was going great for him. he was happy and had some friends, not many, but enough. his friends loved him and he loved his friends deeply. but no matter how comfortable life was, in his happiness, he felt a void in the depths of his soul. something that was missing, not right. he spent a year searching for what was gone, what he left behind... in many places, with many people... and he found it.

she was left alone, but pleased to see him again. he began feeling things he never thought he could feel for a person. she taught him valuable lessons and he yearned for her day after day. he did things he would not normally do, for her, things he did not regret, even until now. perhaps she saw them, perhaps she felt the same way, but she understood, and it was not long before they fell deeply in love.

their love lasted for a period, the flame kindled strong. but overtime, they began seeing their faults and imperfections. he was ready to accept her for who she was, and she wanted him to change. he tried to, failing over and over again, crying when he could not please her, but not giving up. seeing how he struggled with change, she knew he wasn't trying hard enough, and she began thinking... is this who i want to be with? he prayed that he could be what she wanted, and was willing to give his world up for her happiness, but seeing her unacceptance of his current self, left him hurt and wounded. he tried talking to her about it, but conversation turned to tears and anger. what he had worked so hard to build had crumbled before him, and his dreams of her and their future, faded into the unwavering clutches of reality.

it came to pass that they finally left each other, she was weeping bitterly, and he was putting on a brave front. he knew he could not give her happiness, and that was all he wanted her to have. although he hid it well from her, his tears streamed endlessly when she was not looking. although he still consoled her and asked her to be happy, he did not practice what he preached. he felt like running forever, hiding under the first rock he saw, and forgetting it all. which he ultimately decided was the best solution

but cruel fate delivered her to him. he saw her yet again, and what ever progress he had made, was shattered in the instance of that moment. he fought to hold his tears in and avoided looking at her, for she was with another boy. he knew that no other would love her as much as he did, but and it suddenly became clear to him. he did not want to forget her, he did not want to run. even if he grew old, weary and brittle, the last thing he would remember would be her, for if missing her was the only way he could be in anyway related to her, missing her was what he would continue to do.

now, he waits for her answer, for only she can end this tale."

well, this happened a few days ago, but while i was chatting on msn, it suddenly struck me. life is just a VIDEO GAME. its like, you're the player, and you're in a whole VIRTUAL 3D WORLD :D! anyway, it was really funny seeing how people just slogged through life everyday, and some "emo" people even going: "i hate the world, lets end it now!" (cutting their wrist shortly after that). these people, which i affectionally call "shmeople", have yet to seen the truth, because once you realise life it really a VIDEO GAME, then you start searching for "cheat codes"! (thats like loop holes in the matrix or something)

anyway, heres a rather coool cheat code i know of.

to insult other people and leave them speechless. (or deliver the message that you really don't give a shit) take whatever they say to you, and add a "shm" in front of it, after removing the first alphabet.

for example:
someone: oh my gosh! where are your pants?

don't go:
you: gasp! im pantsless!

go:
you: pants, shmants. who needs em?

The helplessness inthe mother's eyes, the scream of pain from the innocent 4-year-oldchild haunted him until today.You may ask why did the mother do so; had the child been naughty, hadthe child's hand been infected??No, it was done for two simple words- - - TO BEG!The desperate mother deliberately caused the child to be handicappedso that the child could go out to the streets to beg.Taken aback by the scene, he dropped a piece of bread he was eatinghalf-way. When You Divorce Me, Carry Me Out in Your Arms

On my wedding day, I carried my wife in my arms. The bridal car stopped infront of our one-room flat. My buddies insisted that I carry her out of the car in my arms. So I carried her into our home. She was then plump and shy. I was a strong and happy bridegroom.This was the scene of ten years ago.The following days were as simple as a cup of pure water: we had a kid, I went into business and tried to make more money. When the assets were steadily increasing, the affections between us seemed to ebb. She was a civil servant. Every morning we left home together and got home almost atthe same time. Our kid was studying in a boarding school.Our marriage life seemed to be enviably happy. But the calm life was more likely to be affected by unpredictable changes.Dew came into my life.It was a sunny day. I stood on a spacious balcony. Dew hugged me frombehind. My heart once again was immersed in her stream of love. This was the apartment I bought for her.Dew said, You are the kind of man who best draws girls. Her words suddenly reminded me of my wife. When we just married, my wife said, Men like you, once successful, will be very attractive to girls. Thinking of this, Ibecame somewhat hesitant. I knew I had betrayed my wife. But I couldn' thelp doing so.I moved Dew's hands aside and said, You go to select some furniture,O.K.? I 've got something to do in the company. Obviously she wasunhappy, because I had promised her to go and see with her. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly, as if we came back to our wedding day.But her much lighter weight made me sad.On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step.Our son had gone to school. She said, Actually I hope you will hold me inyour arms until we are old.I held her tightly and said, Both you and I didn t notice that our lifewas lack of such intimacy.I jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door.
